INDIANAPOLIS – The NCAA announced its first set of baseball regional rankings Wednesday afternoon and the LIU Post baseball team was listed at No. 4 in the East Region.
With a 27-12 overall record and an 18-2 record in East Coast Conference (ECC) play, the Pioneers currently sit atop of the conference standings.

Most recently, LIU Post swept Molloy College in a four-game series. The Pioneers opened the series with a 7-2 win over the Lions at Mitchel Field on Thursday, April 18 then followed with a doubleheader sweep on Saturday, April 20 also at Mitchel Field. The Pioneers prevailed 8-1 in game one and 3-2 in game two then hosted Molloy at the LIU Post Baseball Stadium for the final contest of the series on Tuesday, April 23 and prevailed 9-7.
