NCBWA RELEASE

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – For the fourth-consecutive week the National Collegiate Baseball Writer's Association (NCBWA) tabbed the LIU Post baseball team No. 4 in its East Region poll, as announced by the organization Monday afternoon.
 
With 62 points the Pioneers maintained their No. 4 ranking for the fourth week in a row.
 
LIU Post is coming off two-straight wins over the New York Institute of Technology, taking down the Bears 5-0 earlier today and 4-2 on Saturday, April 27.
 
With a 20-3 record in East Coast Conference (ECC) play the Pioneers are three games ahead of the second-placed Bears with only five regular season games remaining prior to the commencement of the ECC Championship on Thursday, May 9.
