INDIANAPOLIS – The NCAA announced its latest round of baseball regional rankings Wednesday afternoon and the LIU Post baseball team was tabbed at No. 5 in the east region.
 
The Pioneers are also featured in the National Collegiate Baseball Writer's Association (NCBWA) regional rankings, sitting at No. 4 in the east region.
 
While the NCAA's latest regional rankings include all games through Sunday, April 28, LIU Post most recently won three out of four games against the New York Institute of Technology, who are ranked No. 4 in the east region by the NCAA. LIU Post prevailed 5-0 on Monday, April 29 and 10-9 earlier today with both contests held at the LIU Post Baseball Stadium.
 
With a 30-13 overall record the Pioneers will set a new program record most regular season wins with four regular season games still to be played.
