Baseball Checks in at No. 25 in NCBWA National Poll

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) announced its latest national poll Tuesday afternoon and the LIU Post baseball team checked in at No. 25.
 
After receiving votes last week, the Pioneers garnered 41 points to move into the top-25 after defeating the University of Bridgeport 15-0 on Saturday, May 11 to capture its second East Coast Conference (ECC) title in three years at Angelo Lorenzo Memorial Baseball Field on the campus of the New York Institute of Technology.
 
LIU Post currently has a 36-14 record, the most season wins in program history and it posted a 24-4 record in ECC play. The Pioneers' conference win total stands as the most wins a program history and its winning percentage also stands as the highest.
