LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association selected LIU Post seniors
Steven Frank and
P.J. Usak to the 2019 Division I/II Senior All-Star Game on Wednesday, May 22.
Frank and Usak are two of 11 Division II players selected to the North All-Stars, while 21 Division I student-athletes round out the squad.
Frank earns a spot on the all-star team as a short-stick midfielder after appearing in all 16 games for the Pioneers this season. Out of the midfield he produced seven goals and four assists for 11 points, while also collecting 18 ground balls and causing one turnover.
Usak also garners a spot on the team out of the midfield as a long-stick midfielder. The senior started all 16 games for LIU Post, tallying one assist offensively while tying for the team-lead with 15 caused turnovers and ranking second with 34 ground balls.
The 2019 all-star game will take place on Friday, May 24 at the United States Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Md. The Divison I/II game will begin at 7:30 p.m. following the conclusion of the Division III contest at 5:00 pm. Fans that wish to travel to the game will be admitted free of charge.
