2014: Selected to the NCAA All-Tournament Team... Scored her first collegiate goal against Dowling (Sept. 9)... Secured an assist against So. New Hampshire (Nov. 4)... An integral part of a green and gold defensive line that ranked first in the nation for scoring average (3.88) and second in all of Division II for scoring margin (2.80).
2013: Named NE-10 Defensive Player of the Week (Sept. 23) … started each of the Pioneers’ 22 games in the backfield … totaled 1518 minutes on the field … recorded two assists – against Franklin Pierce (Sept. 27) and Adelphi (Oct. 17).
2012: Started all 17 games ... added one assist against Bloomsburg (10/3).
2011: Played in 18 games and made six starts … tallied assists against Mansfield (Sept. 17) and Mercyhurst (Oct. 1).
Before LIU Post: Two-year player at Phillipsburg … named all-conference, all-county, all-West Jersey, all-star and MVP … also played basketball and helped the Liners capture the conference championship.
Personal: Older of Susan Sutton’s two children … favorite athlete is Jenny Paulus … enjoys reading books by Mitch Albom and Jodi Picoult ... plans to pursue a career in law enforcement and aid child victims of abuse ... also plans to coach basketball or field hockey ... majoring in criminal justice with a minor in psychology.
